Synopsis
Jason Ariaz is not your average 22 year old. He has been genetically and cybernatically enhanced but that’s only the beginning. He is an emotionless extraterrestrial born to human parents and living amongst us. Both him and his implanted thinking computer were damaged on landing and must go through life as less than what they really are. The purpose of their mission: to gain permanent emotions from the more primitive society that is Earth. If he is successful, he will be the first of his species to do so in nearly 200,000 years.
Hope lies in the fact that he is capable of emotional episodes and he has been able to forge true friendships. However, he does have the chance of completing his mission if he can truly care for Ariel, the closest human in his life. But he better know his heart soon. Their lives are in danger of ending tonight, unless he can recover what his species has lost.

Hey, guys! How are you all doing? I hope you’re fine and having a lot of fun. Well, I'm great! I've already read three books this week. Awesome, isn’t it? But I’m kinda feeling sad because I have to start studying for finals that I have next month. I want to keep reading, but I need to get good marks in those subjects.
Everyone knows that I’m a super curious girl, so... what are you currently reading? Come on, tell me! I want to know it. I think that after I post this review, I'm going to start “Reign of Shadows” by Sophie Jordan. A lot of my bookstagrammer friends told me that it’s a beautiful book.
You might have noticed that I'm writing in English and it's because of I'm about to review “Emotions” by Arnulfo Cantarero.

Personal opinion
First of all, I would like to thank the author for sending me a copy of his book in axchange for a review. Thank you for being so nice to me, and I'm grateful for the opportunity you gave me. I was very honored to have read your work.
"Emotions" is a sci-fi book about Jason Ariaz, who is an alien with a computer in his brain and born into a human family. He feels more like a robot than an extraterrestrial because he's incapable of feeling anything. And believe it or not, he was sent to Earth from his world to try to understand our emotions and get theirs back. I have to say that it's a hard mission in his life.
I don´t usually choose this kind of story to read because I prefer reading YA, romance or thriller, but Emotions seemed really interesting to me. You know... this alien makes a lot of clever observations about the human race.
Let's talk about the main character. Jason is a guy who is, in my opinion, cold with everybody, including his own family. When I was reading the first couple of pages, I was like: Come on, Jason!!! I'm hating this guy so bad! Why are you so rude with the entire world? He needs to change his ways rght now. But after I calmed down, I realized that was the point of the story. That poor young man is emotionless.
"Emotions" shows us Jason dealing with diffetent periods in his life being an alien. In the beginning, he has trouble making friends and relating to othe people because he is smarter than anyone else, and he is not afraid to tell that to their faces. He experiences good moments but also bad ones, like bullying ar school. In spite of that, he meets nice people and has several emotional episodes.
The author did an amazing job creating this original story. I enjoyed it so much.
I truly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a good sci-for story.
